Dynamic dance grooves, vibrant percussion and infectious melodies are fast becoming the trademark sounds of producer and multi-instrumentalist Sonny Grin. Having played drums and produced for dozens of emerging and established Aussie acts, the Sydney/Eora based artist has recently been enjoying the limelight, with his Sonny Grin project going from strength to strength. Building an impressive repertoire of feel-good dance tunes, his newly released, debut EP 'RACHA’, has been eagerly welcomed by fans and industry alike. With all three singles from the 2022 EP supported by Australian tastemaker radio station Triple J, 'Move Like This', 'All I Need' and Smile', Sonny Grin is proving himself to be an artist poised to break through at any moment. Touring his debut EP along the East Coast of the country, Sonny Grin's loyal fanbase showed that their passion for his music extended to more than the million Spotify streams they amassed on his catalogue over the course of 2022. Turning out in force, crowds packed into venues across the tour to see Sonny Grin's signature live show. A sold-out Sydney headline performance at live music haven The Vanguard was the icing on the cake, the hometown crowd soaking up every minute of the spectacle of Sonny wielding multiple instruments as he delivered his undeniably enjoyable brand of dance music.
