SUP!!!! We're Fatmunk, a 4 piece groove band formed in Belfast, Northern Ireland where we met in college. We love funk, classic songwriting and fat beats and we strive to combine them in some crazy way. We have an old school ethos, no playback tracks or clicks. Our music is self produced (bar our debut EP) and we hope you love it. WHO ARE WE Caolan Tomlinson - Lead Vocals and songwriter. Loves classic songwriting, psychology and sending shit memes everyday. Ben Murray - Lead guitar, Stratocaster lover and writer of this bio. An intellectual powerhouse and lover of funk and alt photographers. David Dalzell - Bass, somehow gets a huge tone from the smallest amp you've ever seen, lover of food and complainer of heartburn. Matt Holland - Drums, multi instrumentalist. The most cultured man i've met who can't seem to recall anything he's ever read or watched. Carries a Hemingway novel with him to attract artsy girls who break his heart. After releasing our debut EP in 2019, we've spend our time during lockdown and thereafter learning how to record, produce and now we're gearing up for our self releases. We released 'Neighbourhood' in November 2022 with an accompanying music video of us hanging out doing random stuff for the enjoyment of our friends who waited patiently for our new music. Next up we have Alaska which takes a step away from funk and more spacey - psychedelic genre which will be released on the 2nd of June '23.
