Whu Else is unlike anything you’ve ever heard. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Elton John, Freddie Mercury, and David Bowie, the Michigan native employs 70s musicality with a modern Hip-Hop twist that bleeds through in the drums and clever lyrics. Self-produced, Whu loves mixing hard hitting 808s and sizzling hi-hats with more traditional keys and a vocal that sounds like it’s from a different era. 
 Adopted into a family of church musicians from Massoline, Ohio, Whu Else carries a deep love for music and the effect it can have on people. He began drumming at home and at church where his uncle led Sunday worship service. He studied the melodies and harmonies coming from the organ with great intent and was captivated by the showmanship from its’ player. He practiced what he’d studied in Church, combined it with his love for rap and classic rock, and in February of 2020 released his first project, I Fell in Love with a Beat. In June of the same year, the producer-vocalist doubled down when he released his album, Big Brain Man. The album garnered praise from publications such as Complex, Pigeons and Planes, Lyrical Lemonade, and more while songs like I’m Not Daddy continue to be a fan favorite. 
 The big brain has been noticeably silent since 2021 but is poised to recapture audiences around the world in 2023. Equipped with a record label budget, a basketball sized brain, and the ambition of twenty men, there’s nothing stopping him from dominating the calendar year.
