After arriving in New York City as a teenager from Bogotá, self-taught Otto Botté has been acclaimed for his engineering work on the multi-platinum projects of Enrique Iglesias, Descemer Bueno, and Deadpool; eventually earning him the 2015 Grammy nomination for Best Remixed Recording-Non-Classical for Robin Schulz remix of "Waves" by Mr. Probz working alongside his mentor, Mark Christensen. Botté is currently part of the sample-based electronic band Pool Cosby and also the DWSG team led by world-renowned Grammy Winning mixer Alex Tumay working on the latest album releases from Santigold, BROCKHAMPTON, and Q. In 2021, it seemed all but certain that Colombian producer Botté would make the transition to the spotlight as an artist with his 5-track debut EP, Dancing Company, Vol. I. Following the success of his debut EP, Botté is unveiling his most personal and groundbreaking music to date leading with his single "Inquieto" scheduled to release June 16th. The single embraces the unsettling journey of goodbyes zooming in on life's uncertainty, picking up where standout “Dancing Company” effectively left off. For Botté, this single represents the convergence of his creative and personal experiences, woven into this next wave of his music. Returning bigger, bolder, and more ambitious than ever before; "Inquieto’’ is a summer-filled reggaeton song for the post-social distancing age, with a dancefloor-igniting celebration of all the things that make music irresistibly fun.
