Биография

Toronto-based electronic music producer, songwriter and musician Renald Joseph Benedicto began his musical journey in the early-2010’s under the moniker, jav3x (jaah-vecks). He spent most of his adolescence learning how to play piano and guitar, until he began producing music in 2011. After a decade-long tenure in the progressive house sub-genre, jav3x has evolved into his current sound, Pop EDM. Since then, jav3x has secured official remixes for Mokita ’s sleepwalking (sleepwalking - jav3x remix) and Carla Morrison ’s Encontrarme [Encontrarme (jav3x Remix)], amassing over 1.5 million plays in the process. Alongside his remixes, he has released some notable originals such as Sooner or Later and Hold You Close. His collaboration with GhostDragon and Daye , Can't Forget was released through Paradise Music, an imprint of Wave Music. The track has been featured on Spotify’s Pixel Garden editorial playlist amongst powerhouse artists such as Porter Robinson and Skrillex. Following this success, jav3x released his second collaboration with Daye, Something's Different, bridging the gap between pop ballads and electronic dance music.
