Marlounsly was always destined for greatness. She knew she wanted to be a singer when she entered her fourth grade talent show where she sang "Irreplaceable" by Beyoncé. Her journey to stardom started off with posting covers on Instagram and making her own original songs. Her song-writing, charisma, and her vocals won the hearts of thousands of supporters. Soon after, blogs started paying attention and Say Cheese TV, founded by Shawn Cotton, was one of the first media programs to repost her content. In 2018 Marlounsly won a contest hosted by 1AM Radio, this was her first major break. It was this contest that allowed her to open up for Ella Mai, Summer Walker, and H.E.R. Her consistency created a snowball effect and in 2019 one of her music videos in particular, "Dreamboat", was her first viral media. The radiant and eye-catching music videos she continued to release after were repetitive hit songs. Because of this it's no wonder, In 2020 her work ethic got her an interview on Fox Soul and a performance on MTV. Marlounsly is a true testimony on where you can go if you simply never give up. She continues to make strides and awaits endless possibilities in her artistry.
