A 5-piece rock band based in Metro Manila Aye, The Anchor was formed on April 2016 by Nestor Lao. Focusing on the word 'anchor', the band's name is an anecdote of the underground music scene in the Philippines and their role in upholding every Filipino musician's goal - the progression of the country's post-hardcore/metal scene.
