Metro - Detroit rapper “MCXI”, was introduced to his first studio experience nearly a decade ago while accompanying a friend. “Immediately, I fell in love with the experience even just in observing what roles certain people played and the creativity behind what each individual was doing.” Inspired, he began writing his own music to instrumentals he found online. The now 25-year old first emerged in 2017 making an immediate impact with his first two official releases titled “Memories” and “DreamzZz”, which gained significant support on streaming platforms. MCXI is heavily influenced by the likes of lyrical geniuses such as 2pac, J. Cole, Eminem, and Lil Wayne. He puts major emphasis on writing his music with the utmost integrity and focuses on telling a story with real substance and intent. Through blending his lucid and sincere thoughts into lyrics and incorporating some creative word-play, he was able to craft a very unique yet impactful style. MCXI is ready to be introduced to the hip-hop world with something fresh and exciting.
