Heavy riffing, powerful melodic vocals and attitude define PAINSIDE’s trademark sound. In 2010, with guest vocal appearances by Chris Boltendahl (Grave Digger) and Gus Monsanto (Adagio/Revolution Renaissance), Painside released its debut album, Dark World Burden. Soaring vocals and heavy riffing with a modern touch helped cement the band’s style of writing. The album was released in Europe by Inner Wound Recordings and distributed in the US by Nightmare Records, receiving enthusiastic reviews from national and international critics and press. In the same year, the band went into the studio with former Sepultura drummer, Jean Dolabella, to record a theme song for Brazilian UFC fighter, Ronnys Torres. God Made Me Unbreakable delivers more of the furious riffing all over the world. In 2013, the band released its latest offering, “Build Your Fiction”. The mini-album spawned three singles: Reject the Silence, Break the Hive and A Caustic Romance, and a revamped version of the UFC theme, Unbreakable. These songs showcase new elements in Painside’s songwriting, but still keeps the modern traditional approach praised by critics. The album was mixed and mastered by renowned producer Mark Lewis (Trivium, All That Remains) at AudioHammer Studios. The single Break The Hive entered the soundtrack of the movie #Garotas. In 2017, the band returns to the studio with a renewed unbreakable spirit to record new songs and strengthen its fan base with shows all over the world.
