Baptized after the largest star of Orion's constellation, the brazilian heavy metal band Rygel begun its journey in the year of 2004. Since then, the band has released 4 successful albums - "Realities... Life As It Is" (2009), "Imminent" (2012), "Revolution" (2015) and "Darkened" (2018). Rygel is well-known for its ability of incorporating several attributes from different subgenres of Metal, just as Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal, Progressive Metal and New Metal. This feature makes Rygel's style of playing to display a strong sense of singularity, since this mix makes its sound unique. In tours, Rygel supported some great medallions of the brazilian heavy metal, just like Cavalera Conspiracy, Armored Dawn and Korzus. Between 2020 and 2021, Rygel released four successful singles promoting its new line-up: "Nothing More", "The Ungrateful One", "Wasting Time" and "A Blessing in Disguise. Now, Rygel is preparing an upcoming fifth single to be released in May of 2023.
