Imagine yourself pacing slowly at night through a dimly lit corridor of an old stately mansion. The dark red carpet touches your bare feet as you admire the copper lamps and doorhandles, the high ceiling and the rich golden floral motifs on the walls. A light scent of dust and humidity fills your nose. A repetitive, hypnotic drum sound draws you to one of the rooms at the end of the corridor. You follow it until you are in front of an old dark wooden door. You are not sure what lies inside, but you can’t help but turn the handle and walk in. Welcome to the Voodoo Chambers. With hypnotizing tribal drums, deeply melodic (bass) guitar and an unignorable voice they turn every crowd into a sacred gathering, every concert into a modern-day ritual. 'Music to turn the lights off', somewhere between Alternative Rock, Electronica, EDM and ritualistic Mediterranean music.
