Биография

Brooklyn-based drill rapper Fivio Foreign started out primarily contributing featured verses to other rappers' songs, but he broke through in a big way with his 2019 single "Big Drip." The song was a viral success and opened doors to a major-label contract and his first project, a four-song EP titled Pain and Love. The mixtape 800 B.C arrived in 2020, followed in 2021 by his debut full-length, B.I.B.L.E. Fivio Foreign's bold and powerful East Coast sound was first heard on cameo verses on tracks from friends like Ether and Yelz Feva. In the summer of 2019, his infectiously abrasive single "Big Drip" caught the attention of many new listeners, and the video was streamed millions of times. He immediately followed with the singles "Jumpin" and "Deli," each of which continued to build on the rapper's momentum. Before the end of the year, Fivio Foreign released the Pain and Love EP and signed on with Columbia. From there, he moved from success to success, closing out 2019 with a string of singles including "Critical." He started 2020 with a key mainstream placement, landing a feature from Atlanta's Rich the Kid on "Richer Than Ever." The eight-song mixtape 800 B.C. arrived in April, repackaging the previously released single "Wetty," the original version of "Big Drip," and a remix featuring Lil Baby and Quavo with five other tracks. It debuted at number one on Billboard's Heatseekers chart. Also in 2020, he released the stand-alone track "Move Like a Boss" featuring Young M.A. 2021 saw the release of the Kenny Beats and Nils-produced "Unruly" ahead of the arrival of his first long-player, B.I.B.L.E. He additionally released songs with Nicki Minaj ("We Go Up") and City Girls ("Top Notch"). Showing no signs of slowing down, he populated 2022 with a series of high-octane collaborations with BigBop, FNF Chop, Malaa, and Rvssian. ~ Fred Thomas, Rovi
