Биография

Caroline Kingsbury is a queer artist born and raised in the church. She had little access to secular music until her teen years when its discovery led her to run headfirst toward a life in music. "Heaven's Just A Flight,” her 16 song debut album, was praised by Pitchfork as “a collage of stylistic eras united by their outsized personalities from disco to post-punk...Recalling the naked vulnerability of Kate Bush or Karen O.” During the creation of her debut, Caroline’s brother Kyle lost his five year battle with cancer and at its release, the COVID pandemic was ravaging the world. “Heaven’s Just A Flight” is a sparkling time capsule preserving the highs and lows of grief, being out as queer, and her first serious relationships. “Fall In Love,” off her debut, was featured in “Scream (2022) and most recently “Breaking Apart” is featured on Never Have I Ever (Season 4)” on Netflix.
