From spinning intricate lyrical webs and sonic stories to crafting visual epics for their ever-expanding discography, LA-based music duo J Cru feeds upon their deep love for Hip Hop, unwavering ambition, and comedic chops to share their journey with all who will listen. J Geezy and J Smitty’s roots can be traced back to a chance encounter their Freshman year of college while freestyling in Orange, California’s Killifer Park. With more than seventy original tracks spanning five years under their sometimes loose, often tight belts, the pair have been inseparable since. 2022 saw their busiest year yet, from sharing the stage with mainstay Trippie Redd to the release of the duo’s most comprehensive and successful piece of work thus far, the sophomore LP “GOAT LOVER”. Feeding off this momentum, J Cru has a packed new year they are eager to unveil.
