Beard the Lion use heavy riffs, technical passages, ambient piano and string sections, and a wide range of vocals from catchy, sing-a-long-able hooks to brutal screams, all to offer up a unique progressive metal experience that is a vessel for the Biblical message of faith and salvation. When bassist/keyboardist Matt Glisson and drum phenom Justin Boddeker joined the Carthel brothers, Seth (guitar) and Ethan (vocals), the band began to grow beyond the metalcore boundaries of it's beginnings, and continues to evolve as they work with Through Arteries frontman, producer Cory Brunnemann on the follow up to their debut release Out of the Eater, Something to Eat. -2020
