Kyei Mensah, born Nana Osei Kyei Mensah is a singer, songwriter and guitarist. He has been active in the music scene for almost 10 years. He started his musical journey in his father's studio, Fredyma Studios. His father, Fred Kyei Mensah is a renowned producer and sound engineer who has been in the industry for 35 years. Kyei Mensah started by singing jingles in the studio by the time he was 9. By the time he was 18 years, Kyei Mensah had sang on several jingles and had done back up vocals on some songs. He attended Christ The King International School then moved to Rev John Teye Memorial Institute for his Secondary School education. In Central University, he was the music director for the mass choir and had released a cover EP titled "Covers." In 2018, he released his first single "Nyame Bekyere" which was considered a success. He went on to win Best Music video at the Kingdom Biz Awards. 2019 was considered a good year for Kyei Mensah as he performed on major platforms including Joe Mettle's "Wind of Revival" and Ohemaaa Mercy's "Tehilah." In 2020 he followed it up with his sophomore single, "Take It All" produced by Nick Records. In February of 2021, he released his third single Ayeyi which was also produced by Nick Records and Aeon Music. In 2021 he was nominated in the Vodafone Ghana Music Award in the Best Male Vocal Performance category. Kyei Mensah has shared the stage with great acts such as Joe Mettle, Eric Jeshurun, Jonathan Nelson and Nathaniel Bassey.
