Heaven Slept is a Shoegaze Post-Punk band from Valdosta, GA. With heavy influences from Shoegaze and Post-Punk giants such as My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, and Joy Division to newer influences like Ovlov, Fleeting Joys, and Interpol, Heaven Slept finds balance between the dark lyrics and avant-garde style of Post-Punk and the crushing distortion and ambient drones made famous by Shoegaze.
