Andre is an international musician, who has been in the music industry for a few years now, is poised to bring maximum entertainment to his fans all over the world. Andre is a singer/songwriter -- he was born in Lisbon-Portugal and started to learn music when he was 7. He started to write his own songs after a few local music festivals, always chasing the acoustic guitar tones and later the clean electric Stratocaster sound. His influences are Rock, Blues, Jazz and any styles that have crossed his path with a mix between folk, hip-hop, pop, soul can be heard in his first album "Forever Is Not Too Long" with songs like "Sad Boy", "Closer" or "The Way It Sounds" all released as far back as 2014. He has been releasing new songs and craves for international awareness which made him move to the United Kingdom in 2014. Andre has performed in concert with different musicians and has been featured at the top folk clubs, where he has been able to entertain his audience to maximum satisfaction. Singer and songwriter Andre Chaves is a maverick in the folk music world. He defied any easy pigeonhole. By turns, he sings a witty song about modern life, and then reaches deep for a soulful expression of values in a troubled world. All his songs are skillfully blended into a seamless flow.
