The decorated blues vocalist penned her first song at age 12 and, after the overwhelmingly positive response to her 2007 debut album, Allow Me to Confess, started touring all over the world. Today, Sicilia plays over 150 shows a year and is fiercely motivated to keep pressing forward in the name of musical progress. "I’ve learned that hard work and experience are what it takes to grow and become a better artist," she says. "And I see myself as always evolving, reaching for a kind of perfection within the music I love to make. I’m not sure I’ll ever find it, but I’ll never stop searching." "Abandoned" reached #2 on the Contemporary Blues Song chart, "He Called Me Baby" reached #1 on the Soul Blues Radio chart, “I Don’t Want To Be In Love” reached #3 on the Contemporary Blues Radio chart. "Heard The Lie" is the title track from the forthcoming album, which was produced/mixed by the Grammy nominated producer Dave Darling.
