Indietronica-pop with a calm voice and an extraordinary use of instruments; with influences such as My Brightest Diamond and Blur. Previously Tamara van Esch released three well received records under the name ‘Mevrouw Tamara, with shows at Dutch national TV and radio shows, at a great number of main venues in the Netherlands and in England and Italy. Her most recent record ‘Tussen Lagen’ (double meaning: ‘In between layers’ / ‘Layers in between’) was released as Tamara van Esch with a release tour in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Cyprus and a tour in Japan in April ‘23. With this record she gives voice to unknown stories that are hopeful, inspired by interviews with psychologically vulnerable people, for which lyrics and artwork were created with them. Music was written with artists from different genres, which resulted in a colourful and dynamic sound.
