In the musical existence of Western-Australia based Alannah Chapman, three things reign supreme — writing, playing and sharing music. The singer, songwriter and saxophonist crafts a unique and addictive blend of jazz-infused alternative r&b with hip-hop beats, inspired by a diverse array of artists including Masego, Hope Tala, Green Tea Peng, Connor Albert and Noga Erez. Alannah has entered a bright new chapter of artistry, announcing the release of her anticipated debut EP project, HEATED in May 2023. The record, capturing stunning sounds that further establish Chapman as a new leader in the West Coast alternative R&B and neo-soul scene, is a beautiful blend of influences – delivered through a fresh lens. An innate and inherent passion, Chapman was drawn to her grandparent’s neglected piano before finding her true instrumental love - the saxophone. After debuting her solo project in 2020, and releasing two singles, her passion is now burning stronger than ever.
