Биография
Michał Pepol - cellist, arranger, composer. Author of the „Kora ∞” album released on 31 August 2022 on Agora Music label. Founder and organizer of the Kwartesencja Festival in Warsaw and curator of the Klangor Festival in Warmia PL. Since 1998, he has been a member of the Royal String Quartet, which performs all over the world. Author of such projects as "Sound regained” in collaboration with Paweł Bownik (2016), which sounded for the first time at Nowy Teatr in Warsaw, „The Silence Of The Sirens" in a duet with Magdalena Cielecka (2017) commissioned by the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, or "Among Angels ”(2017) recorded in the Puszcza Biała Forest. Associated with Nowy Teatr in Warsaw since 2012, he performs in Krzysztof Warlikowski's play "The French" in the concert scene (premiere in 2015). In 2021, he wrote music for the new play by Markus Öhrn "Three episodes from family life", in which he also performs on stage. He collaborates with many artists, incl. Natalia Przybysz, Kuba Krzewiński (dvd "Contre" for Bołt Records 2019), Bartek Wąsik, Agata Zubel, Mary Komasa, Stefan Wesołowski, Karol Radziszewski, Adam Walicki, Patryk Zakrocki ("Duos For Airports"), Olga Mysłowska and the band Kompopolex. He is a co-creator of new arrangements of Maanam's songs for Ralph Kamiński's album "Kora". Michał received many awards for his works. Since 2003, he has been teaching a chamber music class at the K. Szymanowski School in Warsaw.
