Born with music in his blood, Tian began his career as a recording artist and performer in NYC. He uncovered an exciting world on the lower east side that became his musical incubator. Exploring funk, jazz, rock and hip hop he developed a signature sound and had a regular slot headlining at clubs such as the elbow room on Bleaker Street, Izzy bar and Arleen’s Grocery. Not long after, Tian joined forces with Rich Osborn to form Blaze Beat Records. This was a boutique production house that developed hip hop, reggae, rock and was one of the first innovators of Regaeton. Blaze Beat tracks were regularly found on underground mixtapes by the likes of DJ Mighty Mi and DJ Clue. Following this, Tian left for LA to record for Sony records and start his own West Coast studio. Before long, he had became a regular judge on the Chinese version of American Idol. This led to his writing and producing tracks for several Chinese and Korean pop stars. During this time he also scored for film and tv and produced country and deep club tracks for other artists. Now living in Miami, Tian has built yet a third epic studio called “Morningside Studios” and has begun writing a producing both alt rock, country, soul and EDM tracks from this eclectic room.
