UAY is a musical project and journey based in Guadalajara, Mexico. The idea of the band emerged from the Experimental Music Scene in Guadalajara taking a Sound with a Taste of Mexican Music and a lot of South America Roots combined with Psychedelia and hypnotic atmospheres. The first glimpse on the band was with the name FAUNO in 2015 when they release an album called Mexicadelia wich had really good reviews, taking the band to play in Festivals and a Tour in UK later that year. The band also put on their own Festival called Mexicadelia that year and now is one of the best psychfest in town. The band change their name for UAY and start touring USA in 2017 and 2018 having good gigs especially in the musical scene of Seattle and Portland and opening for Khruangbin, Oh Sees, Los Espiritus and more.
