    Khalid Ali (born September 6, 1993), known professionally as Impact, is an American rapper and songwriter. Born in Sudan and raised in Sacramento, California, Impact first started writing music at the age of 13 in the form of short love poems. He started to fall in love with the hip hop genre of music and recorded his first verse at the age of 16. He was featured on C-Bug’s record named “Rock The Beat” under the name Impact Kidd. In 2017 Impact signed to Independent record label Black European Records. Since then he has released multiple singles including “Friday Night” featuring fellow label mate De’Marie King, Goldie & GetItIndy. Impact is currently working on his debut album “This is Everything” set to release September 6th, 2018.
