Early Humans make music about the moments in life that they wish could last forever. Each song is a time capsule containing all the feelings and thoughts that cause the members — Hart Williams, Ryan Vaniman, and Marcus Wickham — to feel alive. There is hope and heartache, as well as rage and ecstasy, all stemming from the frustrating understanding that this too shall pass faster than we know. A Wave, Early Human’s second album, combines various sonic influences to explore the rich tapestry of existence. The band tackles creativity, romance, and existentialism through the perspective of someone that spends far too much time in their head. Rather than obsess on the things they cannot control, the group uses the album to practice letting go, and in doing so, create a space for listeners to lose themselves in the stream of life.
