LX RBK is the solo moniker of singer Alex Rebek, whose music has been shaped by (and has helped shape) his native Chicago’s evolving DIY scene. Previously fronting the garage rock meets new wave band Modern Vices (2014-2021), Rebek developed his recognizable emotive, crooning voice through years of touring and studio work. Coming out of the dissolution of his previous project, Rebek joined forces with producer Peter Scoville (also of Modern Vices) and went heads down developing his upcoming series of monthly A/B side singles, which launched in March 2023 with Down For A While and Hollow. A wide range of grungier tones and catchier structures makes his new music more powerful than ever before, seeing Rebek take major leaps forward in growing his own individualistic voice.
