Биография
Dobbeltgjenger is an eclectic and catchy alternative rockband from Norway. The doppelgangers consist of members from a varied pool of bands like Major Parkinson, Wardruna and Hedda Mae. Their music is as dark as it is bright, as festive as it is rebellious. Their liveshow is packed with colorful and explosive energy and invites the audience into their world: a space in time where inhibitions are left behind and you leave it all on the dancefloor. With a varied set of musical influences (Queens of the Stone Age, Talking Heads, Talk Talk, Nine Inch Nails and Peter Gabriel, to name a few) they represent a creative shift in the rock genre. Their album Limbohead received rave reviews around Europe and in the US and has been described as something fresh and new. «Accessible, original, varied and addictive rock album» Music Waves (France) «A new kind of rock music!» Museek (Germany) The band's last record «Smooth Failing» has been praised around the world as a groovy and colourful disco rock piece. "Dobbeltgjenger are somehow able to pull off so many things throughout Smooth Failing, and the listener can’t help but sit back and enjoy while their jaw is completely dropped on the floor. To call Smooth Failing a success for the Bergen-based band would be a massive understatement" Plastic Lizard (UK) “Probably the best thing that can happen to you in paralyzed times like these” GOOD TIMES (Germany)
