Pranay Bakshi, aka Cosmic Grooves is a Mumbai based songwriter, producer, DJ, and sound engineer. Deejay since 2012, and producer since 2018, he began primarily as a lofi & hip-hop artist. In his recent years, he has delved into working with various other styles of music. Cosmic and singer-songwriter Anoushka Maskey work primarily as a duo, and the two have released 2 indie folk albums, 1 lofi album, and 2 singles together since their debut in August 2020. Their second release C.E.A.S.E. was ranked #3 on the '10 Best EPs of 2020' by Rolling Stone India. Cosmic's latest project, A New, Clear Winter. is a 5 song EP conceptualised, written, composed, produced, mixed, and mastered by him. This release, a collaboration with singer-songwriter Shaurya Singh and creative partner Anoushka, will mark Cosmic’s debut as a songwriter. The goal for Cosmic remains creating music that encourages people to think, and making some sort of a difference, small or big, in his listeners’ minds.
