Биография
$pacely, also known as Keanu or the Ad-lib King, was born in Accra, Ghana and grew up in Geneva, Switzerland. Exposed to many cultures, he speaks English, French, Twi and Ga fluently and absorbed a diverse palate of international music. His love for music, fashion and art manifested upon relocating to Ghana in 2012, where he formed a music group in high school with friend Art Soul Kojo, a painter and an artist. In 2016, he met Kuvie and made his first single 'Love on Drugs(ft DarkoVibes prod by NXWRTH)', where a thick, low-pitched slurred voice garnered him a lot of attention. Spending time together in the creative tutelage of Villain Sounds studio formed a bond among him and five other musical talents which led to the creation of a collective aptly named by $pacely as 'La Même Gang', meaning the same gang, reflecting the energy, camaraderie and alternative vision the boys shared for shaping the future of the Ghanaian music scene. In 2017, he released 'Digit$', a heavy trap banger solidifying his thick slur as one to look out for. His live performances have mesmerized audiences with his exuberant energy and style, and his iconic ad-libs have further distinguished him on ‘Homicide’ by Sarkodie and ‘Balance’ and ‘Blessing’ by Pappy Kojo. He remains a flexible creative, switching flow from English to French to Twi effortlessly, and demonstrating skill in Trap, Afropop and R&B with finesse.
