“Ghost You” is the latest single from Naarm-based artist on the rise, Kaitlin Keegan and is a soundtrack to the inner voice of social anxiety. In her own words, “‘Ghost You’ is the awkward "sorry!" text you send to a friend you've grown apart from. It's an aching for the old times, the acceptance that you might just be a shit friend/person, and the fear that everyone already knows.” Making waves with her debut EP Sadisco and standalone singles, ‘Missed Call ‘Separate’ and most recently, a re-interpretation of Johnny Cash’s iconic ‘Ring Of Fire’, Keegan has cemented her reputation as an artist with a preternatural ability to capture the universal in the everyday. Armed with her captivatingly warm vocals, she writes songs that are deeply personal but also endlessly relatable – set to a backdrop of irresistibly melodic, shimmering folk-pop. Along with her own music, she has also collaborated with WA’s Supathick and electronic artist Tim Shiel, appearing on his song ‘Sparrow’.
