Alexandra John, a brother and sister duo, are not only real-life twins born on the same day but also musical twins. Their early bond has shaped their lives and led them to develop an infectious brand of Indie Electro Pop that encompasses both feminine and masculine energies. Through their music, Alexandra John addresses universal struggles, including anxiety, addiction, grief, and loss. Their debut single "Demons" encapsulates these struggles and recognizes that everyone has their own demons. Their second single, "Strung Out," delves into the theme of repeatedly seeking resolution but ending up back where one started. "Lock Me Down," Alexandra John's third single, combines both the female and male perspectives within the disposable climate of modern-day dating. Their debut EP, titled "Healing," was released on December 9th, 2022. The concept for the EP originated during the pandemic, as they mourned their old lives and embraced the new. Continuously expanding their sound, Alexandra John has just newly released their new single, "Lonely Night," on Friday, June 9th, 2023. Currently based in Los Angeles, Alexandra John draws influence from legendary artists such as Earth, Wind & Fire, Bee Gees, Chaka Khan, and Stevie Wonder, as well as newer influences like Daft Punk, Calvin Harris, Dua Lipa, Dabeull, and SJ Lewis. They remain committed to pushing sonic boundaries while staying true to their authentic roots.
