    Representing the realities of growing up in Montreal's east end, Kay Bandz's story is one of a man who had to become resourceful at a young age living in an unfavored environment. The rapper started regularly releasing music as early as 2013. Being heavily influenced by musical movements in Chicago and Atlanta, his music previously attracted the attention of members from Chief Keef’s label, leading to collaborations with the likes of G Herbo, Capo and Tadeo. After a slew of video and mixtape releases throughout the years, Kay Bandz has not only become a pioneer of the new rap era in his city, he is also one of the only rappers from Montreal to have collaborations with heavy artists such as Gunna, Lil Baby, Pressa and so on. Behind the showcased lavish lifestyle lies the story of a man with a heavy emotional past, a driven present and an undeniably successful future. The North American rapper is now ready to make waves with his upcoming album Charge it to the Game, slated for fall 2022.
