Биография
You'll likely find High Noon in the country section of your store, because of their name and the Western-style outfits they wear, but depend upon it, they're a rockabilly outfit. Sean Menscher (lead guitar), Shaun Young (lead vocals, guitar), and Kevin Smith (upright bass) do come from the country side of the music, so they're as likely to show the influence of George Jones as Sid King or Carl Perkins. High Noon actually sound a lot like the original Crickets (one could easily have pictured Buddy Holly doing "Rockin' Wildcat" as a follow-up to "Rock Along with Ollie Vee"). They're as comfortable doing country ballads with a beat as straight rockabilly blow-outs; they also play like true virtuosos, not guys play-acting at country-rock, as shown in Menscher's guitar break on "Devil Woman" -- and they're worth checking out. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi
