Out of Austin, Texas, Billy King and The Bad Bad Bad is a band whose name alone evokes a curiosity that lurks in the mind dangerously. A reviewer once called them “Surf Rock From Hell” and aptly named. Like an amalgamation of rebellion, acid-laced beach parties, and anti-establishment activism, you can’t help but recall a sensation of déjà vu; connecting each other through familiarity while forging new pathways. On the heels of their recent single release “Show and Tell”, they are clearly American rock and roll. They have two more singles to be released in August and October with their sophomore album coming April 2024.
