Gros Enfant Mort is the solo project of Johk 's drummer Alexis, after their breakup in 2019. His music can be described as an emotionally intensive kind of screamo which blends post-hardcore, punk, math-rock and shoegaze. French lyrics mostly portray anxiety about living in a world that is disgusting in many ways but still trying to cope with it. Every few months, a band is set up for live shows with ex members of Johk and Low relief. Gros Enfant Mort released a self titled EP in 2019 and new material is coming for the end of 2022.
