Биография
Described as "New Zealand's five-piece duo" and born from the late legend Aaron Tokona's Ahoribuzz, Dillastrate features musical heavyweights Henare 'H' Kaa (lead vocals/drums) and Tim Driver (keyboards/vocals) going head-to-head to produce deeply memorable high energy live performances. The duo have toured internationally and locally with some of the best in the world (e.g. members of The Rolling Stones) collectively and individually, and are sought-after session musicians for stage and studio. A live Dillastrate performance is a finely-tuned, explosive experience - the product of obsession and intense refinement that can turn entire venues from stationery to dancing-their-asses-off in seconds. Their obsession with executing the perfect set has led to Dillastrate being one of the most agile bands in New Zealand. Their experience as live musicians is nearly unsurpassed, with extensive festival, headline and support tour experience, seeing the duo playing repeatedly to crowds of over 20,000. Dillastrate has frequently featured on national TV, and commercial, iwi and alt radio, and boast a strong digital presence. This has been demonstrated by their New Zealand chart success, seeing the group's music charting in the New Zealand Top 20. The group's quest is to uplift te ao Māori, which again has had them featuring on national TV and radio with their bilingual hit Party In My Head (Tāwara Ana).
