Coming from the New England area, Rednave is a 3 piece band that orchestrated an original sound by turning the volume all the way up. Frontman Evander Curbelo formed Rednave in his attic in 2019 with an Alvarez guitar, a broken drum set, and a $10 microphone. Originally started as a solo project, he released 2 albums. Rednave in 2019, and Rojo in 2021. Rednave became the 3 piece we see today with the release of Hubris. The powerful rhythm section includes Madeleine Veras on bass, and Ziyad Ghalayini on drums. Ziyad joined Rednave in 2021, serving as the live drummer for garage and basement shows. The setlist for those shows consisted of songs from the first 2 solo albums. In April of 2022, the band recruited Madeleine Veras as it’s bass player. Having known her for quite sometime, Evander would often practice and jam with Madeleine. The 2 of them shared the same creative energy, making Rednave feel more inspiring and less limited. To think that it all started in someones attic.
