Godplant is a Sludge Metal Band based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Their music combined elements of Doom Metal Heaviness with the Hardcore Punk angry spirits to create Sludgy sound. Known with the harsh vocal characteristic, heavy distortion, and also ‘drastically changed’ tempo make Godplant the one of Sludge Metal Band that matters in extreme music scene in Indonesia. After formed in the middle of October 2013, Godplant leave a trace in many underground gigs in Jabodetabek scene. Then they releases a demo tape in 2017 named ‘PREAMBULE’, which is sold out in a flash.
