Биография

Bark Dog is the bedroom recording project of nonbinary songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and artist Blair Jasper, who uses they/them pronouns. Born in 1998 and influenced by the sonic tinkering of contemporaries like The Microphones, Panda Bear and Alex G, they began recording and releasing music in their hometown of Newton, MA in their junior year of high school with the album Today and Then Tomorrow in 2016, a collage of introspective indie folk tunes paired with ambient sound experiments. They are currently a student at Bennington College. Their tenth full length album, i will learn 2 let u go, was released on April 30th 2021. The follow up to that album, magic trick, was released on January 7th, 2022, followed by woke up the eyeballs later that year. The start of 2023 brought with it the latest Bark Dog album, holding pattern, Jasper's most ambitious and sonically varied project to date, followed by revivals in the spring.
