KAAS is not an individual. He is a movement: The love movement brought to you by KAAS. Equally inspired by Prince and 2Pac he starts to rap in early 2000 and is discovered by Kool Savas. Kaas started his career as an eccentric, ambitious and talented artist who knew early on how to make use of the internet for his own purposes. KAAS created a modern classic with his debut album "the album formerly known as amok payday: D“ and soon cultivated a loyal and inspired fan base. Tirelessly, he uses his music to preach tolerance and positivity. While the majority of his songs is overwhelmingly positive and encouraging, there is also a dark side in him. Songs such as "Amok payday", "Haruki" or "Cadillac" show impressively which pain must slumber in this young artist’s breast. With his band 'The Orsons', he reached the top of the charts and is now playing the biggest german festivals. With the release of his Euro Dance album "Twilight Zone" or the EP "KAAS & Jugglerz in Jamaica", he also established a distinct genre far outside the narrow hip hop cosmos. As the name of the EP suggests, KAAS traveled to Jamaica and came back with music that reflects the kaleidoscope of contrasts of this colorful country. Inspiring „Joie de vivre“ shines directly opposed to poverty, violence and tragedy. KAAS combines these contrasts: shy in private, and extroverted on stage, on top of the world with the Orsons and unicorns, rampage and Eurodance as a solo artist.
