Hulica (stylized as hulica) is a math-rock/indie-rock/emo trio from Bandung, Indonesia. Formed in the mid 2016, their music draws heavily on Japanese and American indie rock/emo bands. The music itself is a complex combination between low-distorted lead guitar, dynamic drumming, subdued clean vocals, and some screamed vocals. "(They are) kind of bridging the gap between Cap'n Jazz and The Fall of Troy. They bringing those two styles in a really perfect way," Christian Segerstrom of Mathcore Index.
