Биография
Trent Willmon is an award- winning singer, songwriter, and music producer. Born and raised on a ranch in west Texas, Trent was involved in 4-H and FFA, and went on to study animal science at South Plains College. While in college, he joined his first band and made a shift to pursue music. After years of playing in bands around Texas, he found himself in Nashville as a side musician playing bass and guitar for other artists. Trent honed his chops as a front man playing Nashville’s famous Broadway bar scene and eventually landed a recording deal with Sony Records. As a songwriter, Willmon has had works recorded by Brad Paisley, Eric Church, Cody Johnson, Little Big Town, Randy Houser, Blake Shelton, Wade Hayes, Kevin Fowler, Maddie & Tae, Roger Creager, Merle Haggard, Montgomery Gentry and many more. Several of his songs have topped the Billboard charts including “Back When I Knew It All” (Montgomery Gentry), “Nothin’ On You” (Cody Johnson) and “Keep On Loving You” (Steel Magnolia). While Trent continues to write and perform, he spends a great deal of time producing albums for chart topper Cody Johnson, Hayden Haddock, Chancey Williams, Granger Smith and others. Willmon has built a name for himself as a producer most recently won a 2022 CMA Award for his production on “Til You Can’t” (Cody Johnson) which was named CMA’s 2022 Single of the Year and is nominated for a 2023 Grammy award.
