Justin Tipton is an American singer-songwriter and musician. Candid and authentic, Justin was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Drawing on his admiration for country, rock, blues and folk music, with a heartfelt tip of the hat to Tom Petty, Steve Earle and Lynyrd Skynyrd, Justin leans in to a confessional style of songwriting with grit and humor and perhaps an ounce or two of regret. “I always used music to express myself and now I just write how I’m feeling and try to make it rhyme”. Backed by his band, The Troublemakers - guitarist Josh Vaughn, drummer Sawyer McGee, vocalist/bassist Travis Udall, vocalist/keys Chris Watson - are scheduled to release their debut album "Burn These Bridges" in early 2023. Produced by John Pedigo (Joshua Ray Walker, Old 97s) the album also features Dallas native Frankie Leonie on the song "Don't Make Me Sleep Alone". The first track to be released from that album "Gimme Back What's Mine" was featured in Americana Highways in September 2022. The album also features fan favorites "Shake 'Em on Down" and "Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven" as well as several other new songs written by Justin.
