Named after a Gram Parsons song, Luxury Liners were originally intended as an alt-country outlet for Foxymorons member David Dewese (after moving from Texas to Nashville). However, the group ended up more as a guitar-crunchy power pop band that called to mind classic acts like Big Star, Badfinger, and the Raspberries.
