The kind of music you’d listen to on a stroll down an empty city road late in the evening. The name Regen was first used for the solo projects of singer and songwriter Gaja Kuščer, who would publish her songs on her YouTube channel. With the joining of Gašper Sedej, Jan Mori, Andraž Dražumerič and Maks Rozman, Regen grew into a band which have been creating together since 2019. You might find yourself listening to Regen’s music on a late night stroll down an empty city street. Their music, unencumbered by genre, ranges from intimate, dreamy and melancholic melodies to strikingly retro dance music in the style of the 80s. The band has shared the stage with popular artists such as 5K HD and Stray Dogg and performed their own independent concert at Kino Šiška. Their first single “Wine” and their third single “California”, were both named Song of the Week on national radio Val202, with their single “The Fire” making editor’s choice Song of the Year. Regen make music, worth losing yourself in on a hazy rainy evening or a midnight drive down an empty highway.
