Matthew Bay is a danish pop artist, based in Copenhagen. Mixing his killer falsetto with gritty, modern productions, he creates what he defines as 'power pop'. Mix a cup of Justin Timberlake hooks with Zedd synths and a Daft Punk bass line and you're somewhere close to Bay's sonic universe. Raised by a jazz drummer, Bay has built his musical education on a broad variety of music. Everywhere from Chet Baker to Michael Jackson. He's attended several music schools and plays piano, drums, guitar and bass. Performance and physical expression has always fascinated the 24 year-old. At the age of 8, Bay attended dance lessons, reaching the European Youth Championship in hip-hop dancing at the age of 14. Dancing is a vital part of his live performance, as he move across the stage with every beat.<br>
