    Hey Calamity is the brainchild of David Thomas - a guitarist/songwriter from the Limestone Coast, South Australia. With a penchant for all things Shoegaze and Dream Pop, Hey Calamity puts their stamp on a genre which brings both dark and light to its' sonic canvas. Hey Calamity released a bunch of new tracks written over the Pandemic in 2022, culminating in their debut album Desperation at the end of that year. The album was only available in digital format until the band signed with Shoredive records and a limited edition CD was released in January 2023. Hey Calamity can be found on Bandcamp under it's own name or via Shoredive records.
