Plagues are an anonymous, masked, theatrical metal band established in 2020, based in the United Kingdom. All music released by Plagues has the unique label of Sermons. Focusing on mood and atmosphere, each track is promoted as a Sermon to keep in line with the narrative and theatrical nature of Plagues. The promotion of the songs as Sermons is to bolster the idea of a cult-like portrayal and depiction of Plagues. Releasing their first track ' Sentinel' on June 26th 2020, they have since harboured a rapidly increasing fan base which continues to grow on all major platforms. With a heavy social media presence and a reputation for being an extraordinarily present band, Plagues has grown its fanbase into a unique experience which has become known as the 'We Are The Cleansing Community' or 'Sanctuarii' - the name appointed to the ever-expanding group who join the 'Plagues Experience'
