Биография

Initially formed as a solo bedroom project by vocalist/guitarist Ed Watson post-university as a way to stave off the boredom of unemployment, Exam Season has since evolved into a four-piece band with hometown friends Jack Laurilla (guitar), Toby Matthews (drums) and Louis Kneale (bass). 
 Debut EP Mostly Homely - recorded and mixed by Watson at home in Ringwood, UK - was released digitally and on cassette via TRNS Records in June 2016. 
 The following summer, the band released their first single fully recorded together Everything Is Salted Caramel on Art Is Hard Records' Pin Pal Club. 
 After a year-and-a-half break, the band released their new EP smol on the 3rd August 2018. Lead single Strawberry Milk is the first track to have been written by the whole band in the practice room, and offers a first glimpse into their newly fleshed-out sound. 
 In the summer of 2020 (y’know, the crap one), the band released ‘Your Car’ - written and recorded remotely in different living rooms around the UK. 
 The boiz may release some more music in 2021 (also a crap one) providing they sort their lives out.
